The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on March 30, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats – An update on the discontinuation of existing files.
This is in continuation to Indian Clearing Corporation Ltd (ICCL) circular no 20221230-60 dated December 30, 2022, regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the discontinuation of old (existing) files is extended and now both files will be simultaneously available for use till June 30, 2023, after which old (existing) files will be discontinued.
• The revised date for discontinuation of EOD files in the existing format shall be July 03, 2023.
• The Members may note the following additional points pertaining to upload/response files namely:-
(i) The client margin reporting done on or after July 03, 2023, for trade dates prior to July 03, 2023, is to be done in a revised standardized format.
(ii) Files involving upload of early pay-in of securities and collateral release will also be to be done in revised standardized format i.e. July 03, 2023.
• Market participants are advised to take note of the same and initiate necessary changes in their systems.
