NSE notified regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats- Revision in the deadline of discontinuation of reports in the existing format

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on March 29, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats- Revision in the deadline of discontinuation of reports in the existing format.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The deadline for discontinuation of files in old (existing) format is extended.

• The reports in the existing format shall continue to be provided till June 30, 2023, and the revised date for discontinuation of reports in the existing format shall be July 03, 2023. Thereafter only reports in standard format shall be provided.

• The following important points with respect to files involving upload and response have been stated: 

1. The revised formats shall be mandatory from July 03, 2023. Till such time existing format shall continue.

2. The client margin reporting done on or after July 03, 2023, for trade dates prior to July 03, 2023, shall need to be done in revised format only.
