Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Himachal Pradesh on April 04, 2023, issued the Himachal Pradesh Water Cess on Hydropower Generation Act, 2023.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The Installation of a scheme for the usage of water has been stated

• The Assessment of Water Drawn by the User has been stated

• The Fixation, recovery, and procedure for assessment of Water Cess have been stated

• Provisions have been stated on State Commission and their powers

It shall be deemed to have come into force on March 10, 2023
