The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) on April 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Extension of the RuPay Insurance Program for RuPay PMJDY Cards for FY 2023-24.
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is extended from April 01, 2023, to March 31, 2024.
• The New India Assurance Company Ltd. Will continue to be the insurance partner with NPCI for RuPay PMJDY cards.
• All terms and conditions along with the claims process pertaining to RuPay Insurance Program for RuPay PMJDY cards for FY 2023-24 will remain as mentioned in the circular: NPCI/202-21/RuPay/061 dated March 15, 2021.
• The following Annexures have been attached namely: -
1. Annexure A – Claims Process – RuPay Insurance Program FY 2023-24 for RuPay PMJDY Cards
2. Annexure B – RuPay Insurance Program - RuPay PMJDY Cards for FY - 2023-24
3. Annexure C – RuPay Cardholder’s Personal Accident Insurance Claim Form 2023-24
4. Annexure D - Declaration from Member Bank [on Bank's letterhead]
