The Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on April 06, 2023, issued the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2023 to further amend Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff) Regulations, 2017.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Regulation 72 which states “Tax on Return on Equity”, the following proviso has been inserted
“Provided that the Effective Tax Rate of the respective Financial Year shall be derived from the Income Tax returns.”
• Regulation 77 which states “The rate of interest on loan” the following proviso has been inserted
“Provided that Weighted Average Rate of Interest for any Financial Year shall be arrived by including the Interest Paid, all Bank Charges, Syndication Fee and other Charges paid during that year for Raising and Maintaining of the respective loans.”
This shall be applicable from April 01, 2023, onwards
