The Government of Madhya Pradesh on April 07, 2023, notified that the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Co-Generation and Generation of Electricity from Renewable Sources of Energy) (Revision-II) Regulations 2021 (Second Amendment) [ARG-33 (II) (ii) of 2023] to further amend the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Co-Generation and Generation of Electricity from Renewable Sources of Energy) (Revision-II) Regulations 2021 [RG-33(II) of 2021].
The following has been amended-
•Amendment in regulation 2, new Sub-clause namely (ii) (a) "Banking Cycle" shall be inserted.
•Amendment in regulation 3 which states Power Procurement Plan, Sub-clause (i) of Clause (c) of the Regulation 3.8 (A) of the Principal Regulations shall be substituted by "(i) Any consumer may elect to purchase green energy either up to a certain percentage of the consumption or its entire consumption and he may place a requisition for this with their Distribution Licensee, which shall procure such quantity of green energy and supply it and the consumer shall have the flexibility to give separate requisition for Wind, Hydro and Other Categories;"
