The Government of Goa on April 11, 2023, restricts all liquor bars, pubs, shops, clubs, shacks or any establishment will be closed every day by 10.00 pm with immediate effect till the election Model Code of Conduct is in force.
It may be informed that the Model Code of Conduct has already come into force due to Municipal Election to Ponda Municipal Council scheduled to be held on May 05, 2023, with immediate effect from April 08, 2023.
If any liquor shop/bar or any establishment is found serving or selling liquor beyond the aforesaid timings, during the said period it will result in the cancellation of licenses, and the owner or offender will be liable for penal action.
