Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) on April 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the use of Aadhaar as an identity document for availing benefits under the Scheme for Adolescent Girls.

The following has been stated namely: -

• An individual desirous of availing the benefits under the Scheme shall hereby be required to furnish proof of possession of the Aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar authentication.

• In case the individual does not possess the Aadhaar number or has not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, they are required to enroll before registering for the Scheme.

• The documents required for children below the age of 18 years have been mentioned.

 

This notification shall come into force on April 10, 2023.
