The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) on April 11, 2023, issued a notification regarding the use of Aadhaar as an identity document for availing benefits under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme, Mission Vatsalya Scheme erstwhile Child Protection Services Scheme.
The following has been stated namely: -
• An individual desirous of availing the benefits under the Scheme shall hereby be required to furnish proof of possession of the Aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar authentication.
• In case the individual does not possess the Aadhaar number or has not yet enrolled for Aadhaar, they are required to enroll before registering for the Scheme.
• The documents required for children below the age of 18 years have been mentioned.
