The Government of Andhra Pradesh on April 15, 2023, issued a notification regarding Certain Amendments Proposed to the Andhra Pradesh Record of Rights (Certificate of Ownership for Gramakantam Land) Rules, 2022 - Preliminary Notification.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Rule 2 which states “Definitions” sub-rule (1)(5) which states “Deputy Tahsildar” has been omitted.
• Rule 5 which states “Passing of Orders on claims by Recording Authority” sub-rule (1), in clauses (i), (ii), (iii), and (iv) for the expression “Dy. Tahsildar (Resurvey)”, the expression “Tahsildar” shall be substituted.
• Rule 11 which states “Maintenance of Record of Rights” in sub-rule (1) in clause (a), for the expression “Dy. Tahsildar (Resurvey)”, the expression “Tahsildar” shall be substituted.
