The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on April 19, 2023, issued a notification regarding the extension in the timelines of the Extranet API facility for the Futures & Options, Currency Derivatives, Capital Market (Equities) Trade, Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme, Emerge, Member Service Department, and Commodity Derivatives Segments
This has a reference to the Exchange circular NSE/MSD/56006 dated March 16, 2023, regarding the Extranet API facility API version 2.0 update.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It is to be noted that the discontinuation of Extranet API version 1.0 is extended to May 29, 2023
• It is requested to follow the instructions provided in the User Guide as provided in the aforesaid circular for the user and its key generation and actively test the Extranet API facility in UAT and ensure readiness before discontinuation of the existing Extranet facility.
• It Further states that Version 2.0 shall be mandatory with effect from May 29, 2023.
