The Government of Madhya Pradesh on April 19, 2023, issued the Madhya Pradesh Heritage Liquor Rules, 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It shall apply to the manufacture, export, transport, compounding, blending, bottling, possession, labeling of bottles, sale, and other incidental matters of heritage spirit and heritage liquor.
• The process of the Grant of license for Heritage Liquor Manufacturing Unit (HLMU) has been stated.
• The requirements while Bottling Heritage Liquor has been stated
• The requirements during the registration of labels have been stated
• Forms have been attached at the end of the rules
This shall come into force on April 19, 223
