The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on April 06, 2023, issued a security advisory related to phishing emails.
An incident related to phishing emails for providing sensitive user information has come to the notice of the office. The phishing email uses the stolen identity and details of an official of PFMS.
It is reiterated that PFMS uses email ids from gov/nic email ONLY.
All the PFMS users and integrated Banks are hereby advised to exercise due caution against such fraudulent emails. Before responding to any such email, the users are advised to verify the credentials of the sender.
