Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Power (MoP) on April 20, 2023, issued the Draft Electricity (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Electricity Rules, 2005.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Rule 20 which states “Framework for Financial Sustainability” has been inserted

• The existing rule 20 shall be renumbered as 21
