The Central Marks Department (CMD) on April 24, 2023, extended the date of implementation of revised IS 17634: 2022 - Storage Units.
Considering the requests from the manufacturer and the present status of implementation of IS 17634: 2022 by the licensees, the Competent Authority has agreed to extend the date of implementation of revised IS 17634: 2022 till September 21, 2023.
All BOs are requested to inform the revised date of implementation to all Licensees/Applicants immediately and ensure implementation of revised IS 17634: 2022 by September 21, 2023.
