The Government of Himachal Pradesh on April 19, 2023, amended Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1955.
The following has been amended-
In schedule II-
(a)For the column No. 2 of item No. 15, the “Plastic goods, sheets, pipes, films and mouldings, plastic granules (Polypropylene granules) excluding plastic footwear, plastic chips and plastic powder.” shall be substituted.
(b)After item No. 16, the following new item numbers “17. Aluminium and its products (except Aluminium wire rods) Rs./Paisa 0.50/- per kg. or part thereof 18. Lead Rs./paise 0.50/- per kg. or part thereof.” shall be added
