The Government of Himachal Pradesh on April 19, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Himachal Pradesh Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1989
This shall come into force on April 19, 2023.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Section 50 which states “Conditions under which search of persons shall be conducted.” The sub-rule (1) shall be amended as follows namely: -
“for the words “rupees two hundred”, the words “rupees one lakh fifty thousand” shall be substituted.”
