The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) on April 21, 2023, issued an Office Order regarding the levy of processing fees to the applicants for all the cases related to Type Approvals and Conformity of Production Tests
This has a reference to the notification of MoEF&CC with the CPCB vide GSR 804(E.) dated November 03, 2022, which stated CPCB is the 'Nodal Agency' and is mandated to ensure compliance with 'System and Procedure', coordinates activities related to Type Approvals, Conformity of Production Tests, settle disputes, and resolve technical difficulties in the execution of these rules.
This shall come into force with immediate effect
The following has been stated namely: -
• it has been decided by CPCB to levy a processing fee to the applicants for all the cases related to Type Approvals and Conformity of Production Tests (Failure, Extension, Exemption, etc.)
• The Details of the cases requiring fees have been attached
• It states that the Applicable processing fees shall be deposited by the Applicant units in the account of Central Pollution Control Board named as 'CPCB UPC GENSET APPL FEE in Canara Bank, Branch -Karkardooma, Delhi-110092, Account No. 110114456900, IFS Code CNRB0003333, Branch DP Code: 3333.
• It states that the application shall be submitted along with proof of deposition of fees.
