Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on April 26, 2023, published the Insecticides (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971

These Rules shall come into force on April 26, 2023.

The following has been amended namely: -

• Rule 10 which states “Licence for sale, etc., of insecticides” in Sub-Rule (1A), in the first proviso, for the figures, letters, and word “31st December 2022”, the figures, letters, and word “31st December 2023”.
