Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on April 19, 2023, issued a notification to levy ADD on imports of "Vinyl Tiles other than in roll or sheet form" originating in or exported from China PR, Taiwan, and Vietnam. 

The following has been stated:

• The Table specifies the S.N, Heading, Description, Country of origin, Country of export, Producer, Amount, Unit, and Currency.

• “Vinyl Tiles other than in roll or sheet form” having a minimum tile thickness of 2.5 mm and a maximum tile thickness of 8 mm (without considering the cushion), with a protective layer having a thickness in the range of 0.15 mm to 0.7 mm; also known in market parlance as luxury vinyl tiles, luxury vinyl flooring, stone plastic composite, SPC, PVC flooring tiles, PVC tiles, rigid vinyl tiles or rigid vinyl flooring. 

• The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be levied for a period of five years (unless revoked, superseded, or amended earlier) from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and shall be payable in Indian currency.
