The Government of Himachal Pradesh on April 25, 2023, published the Draft Himachal Pradesh Lease (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Himachal Pradesh Lease Rules, 2013
These rules shall come into force from the date of publication in Rajpatra, Himachal Pradesh
The following has been amended namely: -
• Rule 7 which states “Sanction of lease” for the first proviso the following shall be substituted namely: -
“Provided that the State Government shall not grant the lease of land in any case for a period exceeding 40 years.”
Objections or suggestions if any shall be considered within 30 days from the date of publication of these draft rules in Rajpatra (e-Gazette), Himachal Pradesh
Objections or suggestions if any shall be sent to the Principal Secretary (Revenue) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla 171002
