The Government of Tamil Nadu on April 24, 2023, hereby makes amendments to the Tamil Nadu Liquor (Licence and Permit) Rules, 1981.
The following has been amended-
•In rule 17 in sub-rule (a), under the heading “(A) Licences for liquor used for consumption”, for the entry “F.L.12 Special licence for possession of liquor and serving to the guests, visitors and participants in the International / National Summits and events/conferences/celebrations/festivals, etc.,” the “F.L.12 Special licence for possession and serving of liquor to the guests, visitors and participants in International/ National Conferences, summits, held in Conference halls/Convention centres etc., other than in the precincts of educational institutions; and in venues and stadia hosting sports events of National/International importance.” entry shall be substituted.
•In rule 17 the Table under item (a), under the heading “XI-C Special Licence for Possession and Serving of Liquor”, the table shall be substituted.
•In the Appendix, in Form F.A1.14, in the opening portion for the expression “celebrations/festival” the expression “sports events of National / International importance” shall be substituted.
