The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on April 26, 2023, issued a notification directing every producer of sugar by vacuum pan process, shall hold white/refined sugar stock at the end of May 2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The producer of sugar by vacuum pan process, shall hold white/refined sugar stock at the end of May 2023 as per the following namely: -
Opening stock as on May 01, 2023, Plus (+) Production during the month of May 2023 minus (-) Domestic dispatch in the month of May 2023 not exceeding the quantity prescribed minus (-) Dispatch for export during the month of May 2023.
• All sugar mills have to register and fill online P-II on National Single Window System (NSWS) portal https://www.nsws.gov.in/in If not done the monthly release quota will not be allocated for the month of June 2023.
• All the sugar mills/distilleries are informed that the information relating to ethanol production from B-Heavy. Sugar Syrup, Sugar cane juice shall also be filled on the NSWS portal in the P-II form itself
• For allocation of monthly stock holding limit for the month of June 2023 onwards, data of only the NSWS portal will be considered and no P II data from any other means/Portal will be considered.
