Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Coal on May 02, 2023, issued amendments to the order C2-21(1)/63 issued on May 07, 1960.

The following has been amended namely: -

• In the said Order, after terms and condition number (5), the following terms and conditions shall be inserted, namely: - 

“(6) Notwithstanding clause (4), the Government company may grant the said part of land as specified in clause (7) out of the total land so vested, on lease to any other person in accordance with the Policy Guidelines for use of land acquired under the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition & Development) Act, 1957 issued by Government of India in the Ministry of Coal vide OM No. 43022/1/2020-LAIR dated 22nd April, 2022;

(7) The total 3,110.00 Acres (approximately) land was vested to the said Government company vide above letter dated 8.2.1963 and 8.11.1978. As per Notification S.O. 3894, dated 29.12.1962 and S.O. 02-20(15)/62 dated 29.12.1962 issued under section 9(1) and published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), the 3110.00 Acre of land was acquired in villages –Koihara and Gourabera, Circle/Thanal – Previously Ramgarh now Chitarpur, District- Previously Hazaribagh now Ramgarh, Previously Bihar now Jharkhand, out of which 16.03 hectare land of village- Koihara and Gourabera, Plot No. 92, 6 and 4(p) can be used for setting up and thereafter operation of New Rajrappa Coking Coal Washery (3 MTY) on BOO concept for a lease period of 21 years from the date of the starting of the project construction, subject to fulfillment of the terms and conditions mentioned in the Policy Guidelines dated 22nd April, 2022.”
