The Government of Puducherry on April 24, 2023, issued an order mandating the Online submission of applications for the Registration/Amendment of establishments under the Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970 (Principal Employer Registration) and Inter-State Migrant Workmen (RECS) Act, 1979.
The Online Portal is to be accessed through the website of the Labour Department, Puducherry https://labour.py.gov.in and the Service Plus portal https://sen/cieonline.gov.in
The services shall be availed through online mode only to eliminate the need to submit the applications physically, payment of fees for the services, and track their status at each stage. On approval, the final certificate can be downloaded from the online portal anytime.
This will come into force with immediate effect and the present practice of issuing a signed copy of such Certificate(s) is dispensed with immediate effect, except those already applied and under issue with this Office.
