The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on May 04, 2023, notified the rate of exchange of foreign currency to Indian Rupees.
The following countries are stated namely: -
• Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees: -
o Australian Dollar- 55.90 (Imported Goods) and 53.50 (Export Goods)
o Bahraini Dinar – 223.55 (Imported Goods) and 210.20 (Export Goods)
• Rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees: -
o Japanese Yen – 61.75 (Imported Goods) and 59.75 (Export Goods)
o Korean Won – 6.4 (Imported Goods) and 6 (Export Goods)
