The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on May 03, 2023, issued a corrigendum to notification no. G.S.R. 300(E) dated April 17, 2023, in respect of the Jurisdiction of Zones and Regions of the Directorate General of Mines Safety.
The following amendments have been stated:
• At Page 1(in Hindi version), for the Date of Notification ‘Dhanbad, 17, January 2023’ read as ‘Dhanbad, 17, April 2023’
• At Page 2 (in Hindi version), all the mines of Andaman and Nicobar Islands shall be read under the jurisdiction of Sitarampur Region-2 in place of the Jurisdiction of Sitarampur Region-1.
• At Page 5 (in Hindi version), in the first line: for ‘State Telangana’ read as ‘State Chhattisgarh’
• At Page 7 (in English version), for ‘Koderma Region-3’ read as ‘Koderma Region’
