The University Grants Commission (UGC) on May 04, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Stay Safe Online Campaign
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology is running a campaign titled 'Stay Safe Online' aimed at creating awareness among the user group, including specially-abled persons, to stay safe in an online world on the widespread use of social media platforms. A series of activities has been launched to promote cyber awareness and cyber hygiene practices.
• The Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are requested to share the following links with the students and faculty members and encourage them to participate in the campaign namely: -

• The HEIs are also requested to appoint a Coordinator at their institution for further coordination of Stay Safe Online activities and share the details in the prescribed format with Ms. Samta Maurya, Project Leader, Cyber Security Division, at [email protected]. in.
