The Bureau of Indian Standards, (BIS) on May 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the amendment of the Government of India under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (Department of Consumer Affairs) in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of Indian pursuance of sub-rule (1) of Rule 15 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018.
The following has been amended-
- Extraordinary vide HQ-PUB014/1/2020-PUB-BIS (287) dated 31 December 2021(Published on 10 January 2022) Sl. No. 05, column (5) of the schedule notifying the establishment of IS 16240:2015 Amendment No. 2— Substitute ‘15 December 2023’ for ‘29 June 2022’.
