The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on May 10, 2023, issued a notification regarding the amendment of the Indian Standard Positive List of Constituents for Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and Their Copolymers for Its Safe Use in Contact with Foodstuffs and Pharmaceuticals. The Date of Establishment of the Amendment and the Date till which the standard without the amendment shall remain in force have been stated.
The amendment of the following Indian Standard has been established on April 19, 2023: -
• IS 16738 : 2018 Positive List of Constituents for Polypropylene, Polyethylene, and Their Copolymers for Its Safe Use in Contact with Foodstuffs and Pharmaceuticals
The IS without the amendment shall remain in force till May 18, 2023
