The Developments and Panchayats Department, Haryana on May 08, 2023, issued the Draft Haryana Panchayati Raj Finance, Budget, Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Works (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Haryana Panchayati Raj Finance, Budget, Accounts, Audit, Taxation and Works Rules, 1996.
• In rule 70, the following proviso shall be added, namely: -
“Provided that honorarium at the rate of five thousand rupees per month in case of Sarpanch and one thousand six hundred rupees per month in case of Panch or the honorarium indicated in the above table plus dearness allowance at the rate of dearness allowance payable to the employees of the State Government, whichever is higher, shall be paid.”
Objections or Suggestions if any can be sent within 7 days from May 08, 2023, to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Haryana, Development and Panchayats Department, Chandigarh.
