The Ministry of Power (MoP) on May 12, 2023, issued a notification to amend the Guidelines issued vide Resolution No. 23/03/2022-R&R dated October 20, 2022, under Section 63 of the Electricity Act, 2003 for procurement of power on a FOO basis under para B(v) of the SHAKTI Policy.
The following amendment has been stated:
• The Para 7. 4
“7.4 The Base Fixed Charge and the Base Variable Charge specified in the bid shall each be at least 35% of the quoted Tariff”
May be substituted as under:
“7.4 The Base Fixed Charge specified in the bid shall be in the range of 35% to 50% of the quoted Tariff”
