The Delhi Development Authority, (DDA) on May 15, 2023, notified the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) (Amendment) Regulations, 2023, to further amend the National Capital Territory of Delhi (Recognition of Property Rights of Residents in Unauthorised Colonies) Regulations, 2019.
The following has been amended-
•In regulation 3, in clause (a) the “Provided that no right shall be conferred or recognised on vacant land under this clause.” proviso shall be inserted.
•In the said regulations, in regulation 4,- (i) for sub-regulation (6), the “(6) The charges for the built-up area to be recovered in respect of category-2 land as specified in clause (b) of regulation 3 shall be half of the charges applicable to the built-up area in category-1 land as specified in sub-regulation (5).” sub-regulation shall be substituted.
