NSE notified regarding the System Audit of Trading Members

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 17, 2023, issued a notification regarding the System Audit of Trading Members.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The trading members are required to carry out a system audit of their trading facility for the period ending March 31, 2023

• This has to be done as per the applicability criteria (Attached to ‘Annexure A’)

• The table with the timelines to submit the report to the Exchange has been inserted in the notification.

• The link for submission of the System Audit Report shall be made available from May 20, 2023.

• The trading members are required to submit a corrective action taken report for each non-compliance reported by the auditor.

• The report should indicate if a follow-on audit is required to review the status of NCs (Non-Compliances

• The Submission of the system audit report shall be considered complete only after the trading members submit the report to the Exchange after providing management comments. Further, the auditor must provide compliance status for each TOR item as Compliant/Non-Compliant and Not Applicable and in case of any TOR item which is not applicable, the auditor is required to provide justification for the non-applicability of said TOR.

• Trading members shall comply with any Non-Compliance pending for the system audit report for the previous audit period by submitting ATR and/or Follow-on audit report as the case may be through ENIT.
