The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on May 18, 2023, issued a notification regarding the rate of exchange of foreign currency to Indian Rupees.
The following countries are stated namely: -
• Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees: -
o Australian Dollar- 56.10 (Imported Goods) and 53.70 (Export Goods)
o Bahraini Dinar – 225.45 (Imported Goods) and 212.00 (Export Goods)
• Rate of exchange of 100 units of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees: -
o Japanese Yen – 60.90 (Imported Goods) and 58.95 (Export Goods)
o Korean Won – 6.40 (Imported Goods) and 6 (Export Goods)
