The Patna Municipal Corporation, on May 17, 2023, a complete ban has been implemented on the operation of all types of diesel-powered three-wheelers from the midnight of 30.09.2023 under Section-115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
Transport Department, Bihar, Patna to encourage the operation of clean fuel-driven vehicles (CNG and battery-driven vehicles) for the purpose of alternative transport systems and expected improvement in ambient air quality. The following provisions are added in the form of column-9 (a) of the Bihar Clean Fuel Scheme, 2019 notified by 2018 - The following subsidy will be given to diesel-driven three-wheeler goods vehicles.
(i)New CNG-operated version of diesel-driven or petrol-driven three-wheeler goods vehicle ₹ 40000/- (Rupees forty thousand) lump sum on replacement of the vehicle. tricycle cargo
(ii)₹ 25000/- (Rupees twenty-five thousand) lump sum on replacement of diesel-driven or petrol-driven three-wheeler goods vehicle with new battery operated three-wheeler goods vehicle.
(iii)₹ 20000/- (Twenty thousand Rs.) Ekmukt.
Bihar Clean Fuel for Patna Municipal Corporation and Danapur, Khagaul and Phulwarisharif Municipal Council areas Under the scheme, 2019, only the above provision added for diesel-powered three-wheeler goods vehicles is applicable.
Bihar Clean Fuel in Gaya Municipal Corporation and Muzaffarpur Municipal Corporation areas, 2019 with corresponding amendments) is expanded. Notification No. 0-8183 dated 07.11. of Transport Department, Bihar, Patna. The rest of the terms for 2019 will remain the same.
