The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 19, 2023, issued a notification regarding the Change in match score for PAN verification of unregistered participants introduced on the CBRICS platform.
The following has been stated namely: -
• As per the current process for Pan verification of unregistered participants using API, the participant name is validated against the name linked with the PAN number.
• The match score for the name is currently set at 100% and as per the internal review, it has been decided to bring down the name match score to 80%
This circular shall be applicable with effect from May 19, 2023 end of business hours.
