Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoL&E) on May 23, 2023, issued a notification regarding the enforcement of the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948, in all of Arwal, Jamui, Kaimur, Khagaria, Kishanganj, Madhepura, Madhubani, Nawada, Purnia, Sheikhpura and West Champaran in the State of Bihar.

The Following has come into force: -

• Sections 38 to 43 and sections 45A to 45H of Chapter IV

• Sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V

• Sections 74, 75, sub-sections (2) to (4) of sections 76, 80, 82, and 83 of Chapter VI,

This shall come into force on June 01, 2023.
