NSE issued a reminder regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats

Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on May 24, 2023, issued a reminder regarding the Standardization of Clearing and Settlement file formats.

The following has been stated namely: -

• The format and nomenclature of standardized end of day reports are specified in Part E of consolidated circular NCL/CMPT/55097 dated January 02, 2023.

• Further the format and guidelines for upload of standardized files involving upload and response file is specified in circular no. NCL/CMPT/55117 dated January 03, 2023.

• The reports in existing/old format shall be discontinued from July 03, 2023. Thereafter only the standard format shall be applicable. 

• From July 03, 2023, client margin reporting for trade dates prior to July 03, 2023, will be required to be done in a new format only.

This shall apply to the following Departments namely: -

Commodity Derivatives, Currency Derivatives, Futures & Options, Securities Lending & Borrowing Scheme, Capital Market
