The Central Marks Department – III (CMD) on May 24, 2023, Extended the period of concurrent running of IS 7285 (Part 2): 2017- “Refillable Seamless Steel Gas Cylinders – Quenched and Tempered Steel Cylinders with Tensile Strength Less Than 1100 Mpa (112 Kgf/Mm²)”, with and without Amendment No. 1.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The last date of the implementation of Amendment No. 1 to IS 7285 (Part 2): 2017 has now been extended up to June 02, 2024.
• All BOs are advised to bring it to the notice of all Licensees and Applicants and ensure implementation of Amendment No. 1 by June 02, 2024.
