The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on May 24, 2023, issued a notification to label the Voglibose Tab/Cap - Each Tab/Cap to contain: Voglibose 0.2 mg as “Not of standard Quality”
The following has been stated namely: -
• Directed to immediately stop the use of the batch which has been reported as "Not of Standard Quality”
• It is also directed the action may be taken as per the clause for ‘Testing of Drugs-Quality’ of Terms & Conditions of respective DG-ESIC RC. Replacement of supplies or cost of the material is to be recovered along with testing charges, if any, from the firm
• The Table with the RC No./Item No./Page No., Batch No., etc. has been inserted in the notification.
