The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on May 29, 2023, published the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) (Fifth) Amendment Order, 2023 to further amend the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985
This shall come into force on May 29, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• in Schedule I, in the sub-heading ―”1(h) FORTIFIED FERTILISERS”, after serial No.34, the following Note shall be inserted namely: -
“Note: - It includes all such fertilizer of standard prescribed in Schedule I and is fortified with a maximum of two micronutrients of the range specified in para (i) of sub-clause (q) of clause 2.
•In the said Order, in Schedule IV, in serial number 9, relating to ―” Fermented Organic Manure”, in entry (i), for the figures ―”30-40”, the figures ―”30-70” shall be substituted.
•in clause 2, in sub-clause (q), in para (i), for the words ―” Schedule, and”, the following shall be substituted, namely: -
“Schedule and includes all such fertilizers whose standards are specified in such Schedule and are fortified with such micronutrients as attached in the Table”
