Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Coal on May 29, 2023, issued the Coal Blocks Allocation (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Coal Blocks Allocation Rules, 2017.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Under Rule 5 which states “Auction”, in sub-rule (5)(c) which further states “Eligibility” sub-clause (iii) has been substituted namely: -

“Requirement to provide bid security”

 

This has come into force on May 29, 2023
