The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on May 29, 2023, issued amendments to Indian Standard Speed Compression Ignition (Diesel) Engines for General Purposes and Geosynthetics.
The amendment of the following was established on May 18, 2023: -
• IS 10002 : 1981 Specification for Performance Requirements for Constant Speed Compression Ignition (Diesel) Engines for General Purposes (Above 20 kW)
• IS 17483 (Part 2) : 2020 Geosynthetics — Geocells — Specification Part 2 Slope Erosion Protection Application
The standard shall stay in force without the amendment till June 17, 2023
