The Government of Himachal Pradesh on May 01, 2023, notified the methods of identification in case the claimant does not intend to authenticate using his Aadhaar.
The Government of India vide Official Memorandum eF.No.13(4)/2020-EGII(Vol-XII) dated 9th December 09, 2022, has conveyed the approval of the competent authority to allow Parivar Register (Him Parivar) for the performance of Aadhaar authentication services, on a voluntary basis, for authentication of residents, using Yes/No authentication facility or/ and e-KYC authentication facility, as members of individual families whose name are either entered in or to be entered in or updated in the online digital repository of families in the State of Himachal Pradesh for availing and proactive delivery of benefits of government schemes in the State.
It is stated that the Parivar Register (Him Parivar) can seek Aadhaar authentication on a voluntary basis, for the purpose of identification.
The Director of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department shall separately notify the methods of identification in case the claimant does not intend to authenticate using his Aadhaar.
The consent form to be collected from the claimants is specified in Schedule "A". The format of the consent form is attached to the document.
