The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on June 02, 2023, issued a notification regarding the prohibition of the manufacture, sale, or distribution of drugs for human use the fixed-dose combination of Paracetamol + Bromhexine + Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine + Guaiphenesin
This shall come into force on June 02, 2023
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is in supersession of the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Notification number S.O. 977(E), dated March 10, 2016,
• It has been decided to prohibit the manufacture for sale, sale, or distribution for human use of drug fixed dose combination Paracetamol + Bromhexine + Phenylephrine + Chlorpheniramine + Guaiphenesin with immediate effect
