Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoCAFPD) on June 05, 2023, published Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011.

The following has been amended namely: -

• In Rule 1 which states “Short title and Commencement” in sub-rule (2), for the figures, letters, and words “1st day of June 2023”, the figures, letters, and words “1st day of July 2023” shall be substituted.
