The Government of Haryana on June 09, 2023, issued a notification to amend Notification No. 32/X-1/ P.A.1/1914/S.57- A/2022, dated June 10, 2022, related to the prices of the spiced country spirit of the strength of 50-degree proof and 65-degree proof in bottled form.
The following amendment has been stated:
• For serial number (vii) and entries there against, the following serial number and entries there against shall be substituted with effect from June 12, 2023, namely:-
“(vii) Only Extra Neutral Alcohol based country liquor shall be sold in Haryana with effect from the year 2023-24(12-06-2023 to 11-06-2024). The use of PET bottles shall be allowed for bottling of Country Liquor only up to February 29, 2024, and thereafter, the Country Liquor shall be bottled in ‘pucca glass’ bottles.”.
