The Government of Punjab on June 09, 2023, issued the Punjab Sweets (Manufacture) Haryana Amendment Rules, 2023 to further amend the Punjab Sweets (Manufacture) Rules, 1955.
The following amendment has been stated:
• In rule 10 which states inspection of the premises, after sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be added, namely:-
“(3) The licensee shall deposit in Government Treasury such payment as may be demanded by the Financial Commissioner on account of salaries including overtime etc. of the Government Excise establishment posted in the winery at the rate of 10% of their actual salary.”.
They shall come into force with effect from June 12, 2023.
