The Government of Punjab on June 09, 2023, issued the Punjab Liquor Permit and Pass (Haryana Amendment) Rules, 2023 to further amend the Punjab Liquor Permit and Pass Rules, 1932.
The following has been amended:
• In rule 2, in clause (a), for the existing second proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted, namely:-
“Provided further that the licensee shall pay a permit fee for the purchase of liquor on the rates prescribed in the table.”
The table is attached to the document.
They shall come into force with effect from June 12, 2023.
